7th Judicial Reform Package Introduced

Code No: 7445 (the "7 th Judicial Reform Package") was published at yesterday's (5 April 2023) official newspaper. The Package introduced amendments to the following 18 instruments:

- Code No: 2004 on Enforcement and Bankruptcy,

- Code No: 2313 on the Control of Narcotic Drugs,

- Code No: 6136 on Firearms, Knives and Other Tools,

- Code No: 1136 on Attorneyship,

- Code No: 3713 on Fight Against Terrorism,

- Civil Code No: 4721,

- Code No: 5235 on the Establishment of Courts of Appeal and First Instance Civil and Criminal Courts,

- Criminal Code No: 5237,

- Criminal Procedure Code No: 5271,

- Code No: 5275 on the Execution of Penalties and Security Measures,

- Code No: 5326 on Misdemeanors,

- Code No: 5402 on Probation Services

- Anti-Smuggling Code No: 5607,

- Commercial Code No: 6102,

-Code No: 6325 on Mediation in Civil Disputes,

- Code No: 6384 on the Settlement of Some Applications Filed before the ECHR via Payment of Compensation,

- Code No: 7036 on Labour Courts,

- Code No: 5395 on Child Protection.

The Package entered into force on the date of publication except Arts. 31, 34, 36, 37, 38 and 41. These will be operative on 1/9/2023.
