ECtHR 2019 Statistics on Turkey
According to the 2019 statistics of the European Court of Human Rights, out of the 113 judgments concerning Turkey, 96 assessed at least one violation of the rights enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights whereas the number of non-violation judgments stood at six.
Freedom of expression, right to liberty and security and right to property, respectively, have been the most violated human rights as per the statistics.
The Court's statistics indicate that to date (including the year 2019) the Court rendered 3,645 judgments where Turkey was the respondent State. No infringement was found in 87. According to the Court, the top three most-violated rights by Turkey were the rights to fair trial, liberty and security and property, respectively.
